Just A Formality - Bridal Gowns & Formal Wear

Brides Magazine “Something Pink” Gowns

by Kori Ellis on September 26th, 2008

Brides magazine has gathered 21 of the world’s most celebrated dress designers and asked each to create a pink wedding wedding gown. These wedding dresses will be in stores across the country in October, with a portion of sales going to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

On October 14th, Brides magazine’s “Something Pink” issue hits stands in which they reveal the gorgeous pink wedding gowns along with a series of dedicated features to the fight against the disease. The magazine will include 23 pages of fashion photos showcasing the beautiful designs.

The participating designers include Alfred Angelo, Amsale, Anjolique, Anne Barge, Atelier Aimee, Badgley Mischka Bride, Carolina Herrera, Christos, Claire Pettibone, David’s Bridal, Eve of Milady, Kenneth Pool, Mon Cheri Bridals, Monique Lhuillier, Mori Lee, Romona Keveza, Reem Acra, Sophia Tolli, Vera Wang, Vineyard Collection and Watters Brides.

Here is a sampling of some of the bridal gowns. Be sure to check out the magazine when it comes available.

I was wondering if you would feature up and coming designers as well? I have designed many “something pink” items and plan to debut a “Pink Ribbon” line next year to tribute my mother who has had breast cancer, but in remission for about 15 years. I have also raised thousands of dollars through my community involvement for the Susan G. Komen foundation.

    Let me know, : )
