Clothes Sizes for Real Women — Spain Leads the Way

I came across a news article the other day that I thought you might be interested in. It’s about a study done in Spain where thousands of female volunteers had their bodies measured via lasers in an attempt to provide real clothes sizes for the way a woman’s body is really made.
The article goes on to state that major fashion designers have agreed to stop using storefront mannequins less than a size 8 (European size 38) in Spain and that Madrid actually banned extremely thin models from its fashion week runways in 2006.
I’m very impressed by the efforts Spain is taking on behalf of women. You can read the article here.
