My Husband Picked Out This Dress for You
Tobi is an online women’s clothing store with a lot of cute clothes. So many that I had a hard time deciding which outfit to feature. I had it narrowed down, and asked my husband to pick between a few choices. This is what he picked:
So there you have it, a sexy dress from a male perspective. Although, I did have second thoughts about his decision-making process and asked him “Do you think the dress is cute or do you think the girl is cute?” His answer was, “Whichever” (which in man-speak means yes to both questions).
Anyway, this sexy, form-hugging, short dress is from Velvet. I really like the way the clothing is presented on this site because not only do they give you all the details about the dress itself, like, for instance, what it’s made of (in this case, 94% cotton and 6% lycra), but they also give you the height and measurements of the model and tell you what size she’s wearing (this is Joy, she’s 5′9″, and she’s wearing a size small). A brilliant idea because, with this information, you can better tell how a particular piece of clothing will actually look on you.
Another awesome thing about this site — they have a section for garment care products. In all honesty, stuff I didn’t know existed, but once I saw it, thought the products were ingenious. For example, take the following two clothing care products: The Laundress Classic Crease Release (spray on your clothes to remove wrinkles — no ironing!!) and Gal Pal Deodorant Remover (quickly remove deodorant marks, plus it’s reusable).
Love, love, love this site. You can shop by clothing type or by designer. Other areas of interest include their LookBook, where you can find complete outfits with accessories already mixed and matched for you and ready to purchase (a great trick to always look fashionable, even if you’re not caught up on fashion), and their Editorial Section, where you can find their blog, trend reports, style guides, and other cool stuff.
