What to Wear and Not to Wear
Don’t wear this:
I cannot get on board with the whole jacket dress thing. Do not put your family and friends in the embarrassing position of complimenting you on your jacket and yourself in the awkward position of having to explain to them that it’s not a jacket. Don’t put yourself through the annoyance of having everyone you talk to the entire day ask you if you’re too cold. I’m telling you right now — don’t do it. Wear a jacket. Wear a dress. Don’t wear a jacket dress. I don’t care if it’s the prettiest, best constructed jacket dress you’ve ever seen by your favorite designer in your favorite color and it’s on sale. Just say no.
Do wear this:
This framed cowl dress is by Life with Bird. For some reason, the people whose job it is to name articles of clothing decided to call this dress Pyscho Killer. Maybe the marketing department was having a bad day that day. A terrible name for a pretty dress. I like the gray/beige/white combination.
